Paintings

Most recently I’ve been painting in local woodland. Wherever I end up, I complete the painting, most often, in one go, but, sometimes, I go back a second or third time.

Oil paints do fine in the cold, wind and wet. Any weather really.

Other paintings you’ll see come about and emerge differently I paint them at the studio or elsewhere. These other paintings go straight down onto the paper/canvas/board. And are not concerned with observation by any physical environment.
